Recently, my wife and I were invited to a wedding; and in the process, I was introduced to the bridal registry. At first, I thought it was just another "voluntary" ID program to register your horse tack with the USDA. How was I supposed to know that it's a wish list for wedding gifts from expensive stores? My wife and I were married so long ago department stores, blenders and Calphalon cookware didn't even exist.
